Brand identity for St Peter’s Saltley Trust

Similar to the processes we have developed for our web design work, we have also developed a simple, yet highly effective, process for our branding work. One which gives you the client peace of mind, at the same time as making our work easier.

Before we start any actual design work, we work with you to identify your vision and your values. Next, we study your market. We investigate who else is operating within it, and who the main target audience is. We can then link this information with the analysis of who you are as an organisation to ‘position’ you in your market.

We then generate a set of attributes – essentially words that describe who you are as an organisation. This is usually a short brainstorming exercise. We then distil all of the above research into a series of designs reflecting your vision, your values and your unique position in the market. We usually develop a minimum of three distinct designs.

You then chose the final design – it could be one of the designs we have presented, or it could be a combination of various elements from the three (or more) designs we have produced. We refine the chosen design until we have a brand that meets all of your expectations.

As branding is some of the most subjective work we do, we like to keep in close communication with you throughout the design process, so that at all times you are happy with the direction we are taking. During concept development this might involve showing you very rough concepts to begin with, to ensure you are happy with the direction the designs are taking from a very early stage.

Would you like to talk to us about a branding project you have in mind?
