Blackburn Diocese Vision 2026 branding design
We were delighted to have won the pitch to design new branding for Blackburn Diocese's Vision 2026 programme of growth.
Despite an enormous amount of work carried out across the parishes and in the schools of Blackburn Diocese, church attendance is, in common with the rest of the Church of England, in long-term decline. To counter this, VISION 2026, with the mission statement ‘Healthy Churches Transforming Communities’ is the Diocese's plan to achieve significant growth over the next 10 years. Morse-Brown Design were asked to produce a brand that reflected the Vision 2026 aims and ambitions, that would also help create a joined-up ‘one Diocese’ approach to communication, encourage collaborative working, enhance a sense of community, and be instantly identifiable, making the Diocese more attractive to society as a whole.
We produced a number of designs and presented them, in-person, to the Diocese. We have since gone on to incorporate the chosen design into a number of applications, from banner stands to brochures to small pocket-sized fold-out leaflets, making the aims of Vision 2026 more accessible to all.
