A web-based tool for greater collaboration

When it comes to website design, most clients come to us with quite a firm idea of what they want their website to achieve. But website design projects don't have to start like that. Birmingham Churches Together (BCT) (whose main responsive website design we also designed built) came to us at the very early brainstorming stage, giving us a huge amount of input into the thinking behind the site. And in fact we came up with some of the original ideas behind the site.

We love it when it happens like this. After all, you know your business or organisation inside-out, and we know website design inside-out. Put the two together and you're bound to come up with something better than either of us on our own could have ever achieved.

This Birmingham-based website is one big networking tool – a very clever, web-based method of fostering collaboration across a huge urban area (the West Midlands). If someone is looking to start a new social organisation in the area, but don't know who to talk to or who else is already operating in the area, they'll find the answer here on this site. It all relies on each signed-up organisation displaying their own networks on the site – who they work with, for and alongside. And as a result, new partnerships and collaborations are fostered.

A really powerful tool, helping some of the neediest members of our society.
